Michigan Chamber Professional (MCP) Award
The Michigan Chamber Professional (MCP) Award recognizes individual commitment to professional development and benchmarks key performance areas for chamber professional excellence. The award is based on the American Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) process for Certified Chamber Executive (CCE) and highlights the areas of continuing education, professional service and contributions to organizational performance.

Certified Chamber Executive (CCE)
The CCE program is designed to assess the applicant's knowledge of the four core chamber management areas - management, planning and development, membership, communications, and operations. It is the only nationally recognized certification for chamber professionals.

Outstanding Chamber of the Year Award
The Outstanding Chamber of the Year Award recognizes organization excellence in chambers of commerce and provides a unique benchmarking opportunity to assess a chamber’s strengths. The award is based on the US Chamber of Commerce accreditation process for local chambers and highlights accomplishments in the areas of leadership/governance, finance, advocacy and membership development.

US Chamber Accreditation
Accreditation with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce is the only program of its kind that defines excellence in chamber planning and recognizes chambers for outstanding contributions toward positive change in their communities. The purpose of the U.S. Chamber's Accreditation Program is to facilitate continuing excellence in the chamber industry and to foster a pro-business environment across America. Currently only 4% of chambers have attained this distinction.

ACCE Awards for Communications Excellence (ACE)
The Awards for Communications Excellence (ACE) is a competition to recognize excellence in all areas of communication. The ACE program has been designed to honor, reward and celebrate the achievements of outstanding communication programs, campaigns and projects, and to comprehensively encompass all areas of “communications excellence." It also serves to enhance the professional development of chamber professionals through the evaluation and recognition of their communications efforts.

ACCE Chamber of the Year Award
The national award recognizes excellence in operations, member services, and community leadership in four membership categories. Applicants must complete the ACCE Operations survey to qualify.
