Public Policy Discussion Network

Welcome to the Public Policy Discussion Network, a forum to post and discuss a cooperative strategy for sharing information on public policy issues among chambers of commerce.

About the Network:

  • The Network is a tool to strengthen chamber-to-chamber communications on public policy issues at the federal, state, regional or community level of interest to chambers of commerce and their members.
  • The Network is intended for comment, discussion, or questions on emerging issues from any member of the group. Feel free to initiate discussion on issues or procedures on which you would like clarification or updates.
  • The Network is not a formal coalition or policy-setting group—only discussion. Participation in the group does not assume your chamber’s support or opposition on a particular issue. However, separate coalitions or collaborative groups may be set up as a result of discussion to advance an issue. Those will be clearly separate from this discussion forum.
  • The calls are intended for informal discussion and general updates. Participate when you can, look for e-mail updates when issues are urgent.
  • The Network is designed for and open to all chambers. A series of conference calls scheduled on Fridays (see calendar below). The calls are strictly informational and for discussion purposes only. MACP does not take positions on public policy issues.

Sign up to opt-in to the Public Policy Network and receive e-mail updates and reminders for conference calls. Information will only be sent to those chambers that elect to receive this information.
