To accomplish the MCCE mission by aligning goals and objectives with the US Chamber Accreditation process and the ACCE Body of Knowledge for Certified Chamber Executives in 10 areas:

2008-2010 Goals
- Develop MCCE brand as innovative and primary resource for Michigan chambers of commerce
- Support chambers of commerce in pursuit of Accreditation and professionals in pursuit of CCE Certification
- Develop an “organizational triage” team of volunteers to assist struggling or emerging chambers of commerce
- Develop communications aimed at chamber Board of Directors level to increase awareness about MACP and organizational resources, increase support for staff development programs, and to promote chambers of commerce in Michigan
- Provide resources on best practices for public policy advocacy programming
- Promote chamber of commerce work as a viable career option to college students
- Assist chambers of commerce in becoming secondary adopters of new technology
- Recruit and assist more chambers than any other state in pursuing accreditation and CCE certification combined
